Pisces Lunar Eclipse: The End of an Era
Sep 05, 2025
Hello Beautiful Soul,
Have you ever felt the ache of outgrowing yourself?
That tender, almost painful awareness that the version of you who once survived, once performed, once carried the weight—just doesn’t fit anymore?
It’s kind of disorienting, isn’t it? Like wearing clothes two sizes too small, tugging and suffocating where once they felt familiar. That’s what eclipses do. They remind us that some skins cannot come with us. They illuminate skins we've been wearing for too long, or ones that we were never comfortable having to wear to appease others to begin with.
Just as Saturn moved into Pisces four days ago, this weekend, the total Lunar Eclipse in Pisces pulls us even deeper into this truth of cycles, karma, death and birth. Eclipses are energies to be harnessed and utilized to propel us forward into new cycles, as we simultaneously end the old ones. When the Moon passes through the Earth’s shadow, it mirrors the way we eclipse parts of ourselves—those shadow selves of fear, lack, and “not enough.” 2025 has been preparing us for this very moment: a year of shedding, healing, releasing, so that now, finally, the shadow is no longer running the show.
And here’s the beauty of all that inner work you've been doing: Eclipsing the shadow isn’t just about letting go. It’s about making space for something entirely new, with more light, and more of your true essence embodied. When we surrender to the intensity of the densities of who we were, used to be, or want to be - the light rushes in, illuminating, creating more space for its creativity, clarity, and joy.
Sometimes that new rush of free flowing creativity, reveals an inner desire for “something new” that surprises us. Perhaps something you thought you'd always say no to, suddenly reveals itself now as a something you don't want to live without. Maybe it’s not about wanting more—but discovering you were really longing for less.
Less rushing, more savouring. Instead of cramming the morning with to-dos, you light a candle, sip your tea slowly, and breathe. The world doesn’t collapse. It expands.
Less performing, more presence. You stop posting for approval and start sharing from your heart. Suddenly, connection feels real again.
Less chasing, more receiving. You stop saying “yes” to what drains you. In the quiet space, an aligned opportunity arrives—without force.
Less noise, more clarity. You notice how much easier decisions become when you unplug, listen, and trust your inner voice.
Less of them, more of you. You sense when too much of someone or something begins to impact your energy and being in a negative way, and how much better you feel, when you keep choosing you, instead of them.
Isn't it funny how leaning into less of one thing, naturally brings you into more of another thing, feeling or energy - Ponder on that!
Consider what you want less of, and you'll discover what you want more of.
Alternatively, ask yourself what you want more of, and then take look at what you need less of, that has been in the way of that which you want more of.
This is the promise of the eclipse when we are willing to harness its transformative energy: breathing new forms of possibility into the spaces within our hearts, thus naturally shifting the world around us in new ways. Releasing the grip of shadows of the past you've been so tirelessly working through and finally, having the space and awareness to embody, to choose, to create, to experience, what comes alive in the light of us.
So let this Lunar Eclipse be a doorway. Step through. Leave behind the smaller versions, the stuck stories, the patterns that weighed you down. Shed the skins that no longer fit you (or never did to begin with). Step into the space your soul has been waiting for—where your miracles finally have room to breathe, to magnetize, to become.
With moon kissed blessings!
Erin xo
