The silver lining is found in the integration of what was, which is then used as the step to climb higher, to peek into the sun that patiently waits above the clouds. The silver lining is only seen because of the clouds - without the cloud, no silver lining can exist. And no species can live a lifetime in the hot scorching sun, with no moon, no night, no cloud cover.  The clouds are often necessary, to spark a storm that kicks up what was underneath the surface all along, and then it clears it, scattering the debris of what was silenced underneath it all.

 

The true optimist understands their is purpose of the clouds and only in that understanding can one truly sit in sacred reverence for them, and the beauty they will bring.

The true optimist - the true alchemist - does not look about the world through rose colored glasses, seeing only good...

They see what is.

 

They understand that good can come from what is...

The true optimist understands that good can come from everything -

not that everything is good."
