What a month July has been! This month was a masterclass in soul realignment—whether we consciously signed up for it or not.

We’ve just moved through an extraordinary sequence of energetic and cosmic shifts, that deeply impacted, influenced and released many layers of the unconscious collective psyche. This revealed outdated structures within our inner Masculine energy and patterns of control that we’ve outgrown. Imbalances were brought to the attention of our inner Feminine energy and Receiving. July also illuminated what has been leeching our energy, confining our creativity, shrouding us in illusion, making us feel disempowerd and blocking our manifestations. 

So go easy on yourself my friend, because the month of July has not only been energetically full—it’s been cosmically exacting.
We’ve literally just walked through an astrological crucible of karmic refinement and spiritual reclamation!

So as we welcome Chiron’s retrograde, know that we do so after:

• Pluto retrograde — culling the illusions of power and attachment, asking us to face what must truly die to live freely.

• Neptune retrograde — dissolving the glamour of the old dreams, so only the soul’s true vision remains.

• Saturn retrograde — testing our structures, commitments, and the inner authority from which we create as we redefine power, for a new cycle to commence.

• Mercury retrograde — disrupting habitual thoughts and communication loops, so we may finally speak new worlds into being.

Each of these energies carved away at our identity, our desires, our illusions, and the way we shape reality with thought, word, and action. Together, along with many other planetary aspects this month, they offered a kind of holy excavation… an unraveling of the constructs that once protected us but no longer serve the shape of our becoming.

And now — in the final few days of July — comes Chiron, the wound beneath all wounds - the very core of it.

Most of us are more familiar with wounds than we realize, engaging with repeat people and circumstances with different faces and different names.

So let me offer you something new here. A perspective that may soften something ancient inside you that releases that which you know you do not to keep experiencing.

Wounds only occur in relation.

Let that land.

Your core wound didn’t happen in a vacuum. It was born in contrast. In response or reaction. In a dynamic.

A parent who couldn’t see you.
A partner who broke your trust.
A world that told you your softness was too much. Or not enough.

The wound happened because something outside of you clashed with the truth within you.
And so, to survive… you shaped yourself around it. You took it in as if it were your own.

But what if… the wound is not a flaw to be fixed…What if the wound is a compass back to your truth now? 

You see, to know where we have been severed from self is to know exactly where to reclaim it.

Chiron’s retrograde doesn’t ask us to relive our pain. It invites us to see clearly where the distortion originated—and to remember that your wholeness was never lost, only hidden beneath survival adaptations and stories that aren’t yours.

We are not healing because we are broken. We are healing because we are whole, and believed, then embodied, that we weren't - We are simply remembering. 

So if you’ve been tired, emotional, deeply reflective, experiencing alot of past cycles of energy showing up, or even just feeling lost this past month—know this:

Your old self could not survive this shift—because your true self is finally ready to live! 

That's who and what you've been losing says Chiron, the wounded you, the fearful you, the unworthy you, the you who thinks your not smart enough, don't have enough power, can't make a difference version of you!

So take time this weekend to pause. To listen to your truth. To honour this space between who you were and your new era of wholeness, of promise, power, delight, peace, presence or whatever you have felt was lacking in the past. You are becoming it so make the time, and take the time to allow it.

Here's to the month of July with a hearty goodbye, farewell and thank you for your illumination and liberation!

And let's turn our face to say Hello and Welcome to August, toasting to new beginnings, to wholeness, to the joy of being truly alive within again. Here's to your light and your shadow, your struggles and your wisdom. Let's celebrate with fresh eyes and deep wholeness, the gift of life and rebirth that has already begun for you!
