The Wisdom of Nurturing Your Light
Oct 24, 2025
So often, when we are in the throes of darkness that threaten to consume us, and even after we’ve journeyed through great darkness—through chaos, endings, or the quiet ache of uncertainty—we feel the urge to do. To fix, to move, to make sense of it all. Yet, there is a great wisdom in integrating, resting and nurturing the light within at these times. And this is one of those times the soul whispers this wisdom to us. It asks us to soften, to be still, to allow the light and the wisdom to percolate within our very being.
There comes a time, especially after deep seasons of shadow, when the most sacred act of courage is to slow down—to rest, to reflect, to let the wisdom of all that’s unfolded settle into the quiet places within us.
This is the holy pause between inhale and exhale—the space where light begins to return.
Just as the moon wanes before she waxes again, we too move through phases of shadow and light. Some seasons feel heavy, thick with questions. Others glimmer with clarity and joy. But both are sacred. Both shape the rhythm of our becoming.
And when you find yourself steeped in darkness - the weight of it devouring you - or even just emerging from a period of darkness -tender and unsure - this is when the light of rest and play is needed most.
Lay down the weight of what was. Let the Divine devour the darkness for you. Release what plagues you, what pulls at your peace.
Turn your heart instead toward the simple delights—the gentle rhythm of your breath, the purr of an animal at your feet, the golden warmth of sunlight upon your skin.
Notice how even a tiny flower blooms through the cracks of a forgotten path. How a bird rides the wind in effortless ease. These small moments remind us: life keeps reaching for the light. And so do we.
Give yourself permission to be free of all that was heavy. To let the light within you breathe again—expand, soften, and become weightless.
This weekend, may you rest not out of exhaustion, but out of devotion to the soul, the body and the mind of the self.
May you play not to escape, but to remember.
And may you reflect not to analyze, but to integrate the quiet miracles you’ve been living through.
The light in your heart is ready to rise again.
Let it.
With love and gentleness,

A gentle Freedom Practice to let your light breathe this weekend: Breath of Light & Renewal
Pause wherever you are.
Close your eyes and take three slow, full breaths.
On each exhale, imagine releasing the weight of what was—every story, every strain.
On each inhale, receive golden light into your chest—soft, spacious, and warm.
Let it fill the heart, the shoulders, the space behind your eyes.
Feel your inner light expand. Feel yourself become lighter.
A Powerful Freedom Reflection to Nurture your light:
Where in your life do you feel the light beginning to return?
What simple joy calls you back to presence today? How can you bring more focus to these areas of your life at this time and nurture them?
